Old Sheraton
Old Sheraton ist das erste Hotel und somit ein Wahrzeichen von Hurghada. Das zylindrische Hotel wurde 1963 erbaut und musste turbulente Zeiten miterleben. Es steht nun seit über 20 Jahren leer. Trotzdem wird der Yachthafen noch heute angefahren.

Old Sheraton ist the first hotel and therefore a landmark of Hurghada. The cylindrical hotel was built in 1963 and expirienced turbulent times. It has now been empty for over 20 years. However, people still use the marina today.

Hurghada was once just a small fishing village, but now Hurghada has around 60'000 inhabitants. At the Dahar bazaar, local traders sell spices, clothes, papyrus, jewelry, perfume, sweets and other treasures of the Orient.
